Privacy policy.

The short version

We collect what you type into our form so we can call you back about your roof. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to anyone for their marketing. This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers.

What we collect

When you fill in our Mint Scan form, we receive what you enter:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The property address you want looked at
• The service you selected and anything you write in the message box

Along with that, our form records which page or link brought you here and your browser's window size. That is used to route your request and to fix the form when it misbehaves — nothing else.

You do not need an account to use this site, and we do not ask you to make one.

What we do with it

We use it to answer you: to call, text or email you about the request you sent, to schedule an inspection, and to put together your estimate. If you become a customer, we keep it as part of your job record.

We do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not build a profile on you.

Mobile numbers and text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone. This applies no matter what else is described in this policy: your phone number and your consent to be texted stay with us.

Who else touches your information

We are a small company and we use a few outside services to run the site and the office. They only receive what they need to do their job for us:

• Formspree — delivers your form submission to our inbox.
• JobNimbus — our customer and job management system, where your request is stored so we can act on it.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes the requests your browser makes, including your IP address.
• Google Fonts — this site loads its typefaces from Google, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

None of these are permitted to use your information for their own marketing. We will also disclose information if the law requires it — a court order, for example.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no Facebook pixel, no session recording, and nothing stored in your browser between visits. The Facebook and Better Business Bureau marks on our pages are ordinary links: nothing is sent to either company unless you click through.

How long we keep it

We keep your request for as long as we need it to serve you, and afterwards for as long as our business and legal obligations require — job records and warranty claims outlive the job itself. If you would rather we did not keep it, ask us and we will delete what we are not required to hold.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it.
• Tell us to stop contacting you — by any method, at any time.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, so what you send from the form is encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Children

This site is meant for homeowners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than bury it.
